My Promise

ON the one hand, I pledge to, as accurately as possible, present information that will help people brew and enjoy beer. ON the other hand, I will also flagrantly distort facts about things just to entertain myself. Please take it with a grain of salt. Let's learn about and enjoy craft beer with a light heart (and a nice head).

Portland report, part 1

Jet lag is finally calming down. I think it's better flying west than east. It's just like you pulled an all-nighter and now it's morning and you can't get to sleep. Jet lag going the other way is like you pulled an all-nighter on acid, and now it's morning and you can't get to sleep. Lame.

Portland was the bomb, as I knew it would be. Saw the GF, friends, fam, did a ton of beer related stuff like shopping for brewing books, gear, beer. Drank a gob of great brews, and ate, and ate, and ate. Piles heaped on mounds stacked on mountains of great food. I know you'd rather see it than read about it though.

Apologies (from Youtube) for the crappy quality. Watch it high def, dude.

And the beer...my gourd, the beer.

High def version here. It's the director's cut.

Next I'll post pics of my acquisitions, rare brews and gear. Too tired now. Must...zzz...
