My Promise

ON the one hand, I pledge to, as accurately as possible, present information that will help people brew and enjoy beer. ON the other hand, I will also flagrantly distort facts about things just to entertain myself. Please take it with a grain of salt. Let's learn about and enjoy craft beer with a light heart (and a nice head).

  1. At first glance it looked like an At-At.
Isn't HERMS the name of the dentist-elf in the Rudolph cartoon?

  2. Heat Exchange Recirculating Mash System. The barley juice (sweet wort) goes out the vessel, through the pump into another heated vessel, and goes round and round like that to maintain a constant temperature.

I wish it were an At-At. My commuting problems would be solved.
